Vacation: Singapore #2

Day 1: Universal Studio Singapore (USS)

Early in the morning,semua orang bersiap-siap nak pergi Sentosa untuk bergembira di Universal Studio. As my cousin and her family still have not buy the tickets yet,so we need to rush and hope for some luck so that the tickets would not be sold out.

We went there by monorail from Vivo City.For your information,my cousin's condominium is the closest condominium to the biggest mall in Singapore,which is Vivo City (in Malaysia,we have Pavillion)

We went to Vivo City by walking. It was fun to walk in a group like that.Moreover,I felt safe when I walked there compared when I was in Kuala Lumpur. Banyak sangat mat rempit,perompak,perogol,peragut and all. Alhamdulillah, kitaorang masih selamat walaupun jalan balik condo selewat jam 12 pagi seramai 3 orang perempuan sahaja.

Cuba bayangkan if aku berjalan di kaki lima di Kuala Lumpur jam 12 pagi bersama perempuan sahaja,na'uzubillah! Menakutkan! Sangat tak selamat..

So,berbalik kepada cerita tadi kami bertolak dari Sentosa Station to Waterfront Station. Manusia memang ramai since now is school break right? After a while,we got the tickets for my cousin and family.

The ticket for adult is about $66 per person. I don't really know about the price for normal day but we bought it for $66 per person. With the ticket,we also got $5 voucher for food and $5 for souvenir which valid for 24 hours only.

Bila dah masuk sana,sila refer guided map yang diaorang bagi sebab setiap show ada schedule and make sure tak terlepas showtime pulak. Udah ler bayor mahal,kalau terlepas shows or rides bertambah rugi la kita. Tambahan pula USS ni tutup pukul 7 malam.So,sila simpan angan-angan anda nak spend whole day dalam tu. Tak dapat lah dik....tsk

Merchandise

Lepas jejakkan kaki masuk USS ni,mulalah rush amik gambor.Like my friend said,"don't rush when you want to take a good picture". Dukacita sekali hati beta,beta sangat rush ambik gambor sepanjang percutian di Singapore nih. Yela,bercuti bersama family dan diaorang pulak jenis nak cepat aje. Langsung tak nak amik gambor gedik-gedik macam my photographer friends do.

Terpaksalah akur dengan candid pictures yang kadang-kadang hancus jugak.

First activity kitaorang dalam USS tu ialah tengok show Light,Camera,Action hosted by Steven Spielberg. We got the chance to know,see and experience behind the scene of great movies by incredible special effects as an empty sound stage becomes the setting for a major hurricane about to hit New York City.

There were too many rides and shows that were still in progress and need to be crossed in our list.Kinda waste.

Next,we have a ride at Accelerator. Basically,it was a giant spinning cup/bowl and the speed of the accelerator keep increasing.Masa tengah queue,rasa macam sekejap saja ride tu. Tapi bila dah naik,ditambah pula dengan cousin aku yang semangat untuk pusingkan handle untuk increase the speed,kami berlima memang pening sampai nak turun dari seat tu pun nak ambil masa few seconds. Orang lain tak sepening kitaorang sebab diaorang tak pusing handle tu. Fyi,warga muda sahaja yang naik ride ni.

Dah elok sikit pening tu,kami semua meneruskan perjalanan ke kedai souvenir di Sci-Fi park.Tak menarik sangat bagi aku,so kami meneruskan pengembaraan ke Ancient Egypt park. Masing-masing dah lapar,then terus serbu Oasis Spice Cafe.

We had our lunch there. The concept of the cafe is Mediterranean,Indian and Malay cuisines that are served in Egyptian-themed environment. For me,the food is not that delicious compared to any mamak stalls in Penang. We were too hungry on that time,so bedal sajalah labu.

Lepas makan,rest kejap dalam cafe tu.Next,get ready for the more exciting rides and shows in the next entry.

fact: I'm the shortest among my sisters. -_-" ,but they wear high heels too!
