‘View from the grave’
An interesting picture, makes you think..so thought I’d share.
Allah’s Apostle (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasalla m) used to invoke (Allah):
“O Allah! I seek refuge with you from the punishment in the grave and from the punishment in the Hell fire and from the afflictions of life and death, and the afflictions of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal.” [Vol 2:#459]
From my humble opinion, today's Jenazah Management that was organized by the OSC and make it compulsory to all Halaqah's students was not that bad but the first Jenazah Management Skills that was held few weeks back was way better than this one. Almost everyone who participated in last JMS agreed with me.Maybe it was facilitated by the Jabatan Agama officer (previous JMS) and the program was not a 'free' program.
The process were explained more in details and the 'feel' of death was there but this time I just cannot feel anything because they skipped a lot of IMPORTANT THINGS in handling the dead body from bathing, kaffan, praying and burying. There were too much of unnecessarily theory briefing in today's JMS compared to the previous one who has more time for practical session even though the number of participants were larger than today which is almost few hundreds but today almost hundred only (assumption). Plus, the Q&A session in last JMS was amaze and all the questions were answered by the Ustazah with the strong evident and her 10 years experience in handling the jenazah.
I am totally disappointed with today's JMS. Alhamdulillah I got the chance to be in the previous JMS so that I already have the brief about the process and today's session just to test my understanding and practice it for the future. InsyaAllah. Hopefully I can manage to handle the jenazah from the beginning until the end of the processes one day.Amin
