Seminggu sebelum lawatan,memang berat hati nak menyertai rombongan ke INOCEM ni sebab tak faham apa itu INOCEM dan tujuan lawatan diadakan. Terus bebudak kelas kasi borang untuk isi details untuk mereka yang nak join. Almost 50++ yang nak join tapi end up pada hari kejadian hanya 20++ yang muncul. Berbekalkan azam "Nak belajar sesuatu yang baru,and I don't want to be left out among my classmates", jadi aku berjaya menjadi salah seorang ahli rombongan hari tersebut :)
What is INOCEM?
INOCEM is an acronym for Institute of Oceanography and Maritime Studieso. This institute is established to support and promote research in oceanography, maritime studies and related management programmes through postgraduate education, education, research and effective prorammes that addressing marine issues in Malaysia. Basically INOCEM is under Kuliyyah of Science of IIUM Kuantan.
The trip was fun! We got the chance to plant pine tree near the beach, 'mingle' with all the turtles, tour around huge tanks that were specialized for aquaculture, met giant siakap fish that was very aggressive towards human -___- and etc.
We were fed with nice breakfast and lunch. Siap bebudak ni tapau masak tempoyak ikan patin sorang 1 plastik beg besar.
The trip started at 8am until 2pm. We arrived at our campus by university's bus with full stuffed tummy :D
